Jubilee Hall Open Day

Join the trustees for a free afternoon tea, 2-5pm. Tour the hall and facilities, discover its history, funding and future plans, find out about hiring the hall, ask questions and make suggestions and promote your group/events if you are a regular hirer

Orchards furniture sale

Teak garden furniture on sale on 25th April from 10am until 4pm. We have a large selection of teak garden benches in various designs, teak carver chairs, folding chairs, extending teak tables, folding tables, solid leg tables, loungers, parasols, cushions, coffee tables to suit any size garden - big or small. Please come along and take a look for yourself.

Dartmoor Perambulation Talk by J Collingwood

Inaugural Talk and Presentation by Josephine Collingwood on her new book: the Dartmoor Perambulation - A Guide to Walking the Medieval Boundary of the Royal Forest. With An Introduction to the first medieval map of Dartmoor. • Join Josephine to slip back in time to 1240 when 12 knights rode around the heart of Dartmoor to delineate the Royal Forest. • Follow Dartmoor’s oldest long-distance walk with a 3D bird’s-eye view through each section. • Discover the first medieval map of Dartmoor showing the original Perambulation waypoints and the Latin transcript of the Perambulation Return • See the first full-colour reproduction of the map, now available as a poster. • All of Josephine’s books and maps will be on display and available to purchase with 10% discount. • And yes, there will be rock samples to see too!
